A 230 gsm linen is heavy enough to hang in a straight line from the hip instead of clinging, which is what makes a wide leg work. High waist with a flat front, a concealed side zip, deep slanted pockets and a 28 cm leg opening. Sized by the waist, in two-inch steps.
White at this weight is opaque. Heavy linen takes longer to dry on the line than you expect - a full afternoon - and the knees will bag slightly by evening and recover in the wash.
