A lightweight cotton canvas washed until it drapes rather than stands. A single pleat each side, a high waist with belt loops, a fly front and a leg that narrows from the knee to a 20 cm opening. The most tailored trouser here and the one that goes with a shirt tucked in.
Washed cotton softens with every wash and the colour lightens very slightly along the seams and the pleat edge over a year. Camel and rose show it before black does.
