Shorts that match the camp-collar shirt in cloth and colour, so the two can be worn as a set or not. The waist is elasticated at the back only, with a flat front and a drawstring, which keeps the front clean under an untucked shirt. The inseam is 20 cm: above the knee on most people, not short.
The pockets are deep enough for a phone and they will sag slightly in linen when loaded. A few hours on a line restores the shape.
