Made from the offcuts of the shirt linen, lined with the same cloth, with a 5.5 cm brim held in shape by rows of stitching rather than any stiffener. It rolls, folds and crumples, and it comes back with a shake. Unisex, in three sizes.
A linen bucket hat offers less shade than the straw hats - the brim is short and soft - and the white will need washing more often than you would like. It is the hat for a bag, not the hat for a beach day.
