A grandad collar sits flatter than a point collar in heat and does not need a tie to look finished. This one is cut a little longer in the sleeve with a wide cuff that rolls to the elbow and stays there. The linen is 185 gsm - heavier than the women's shirt - so it hangs straighter and shows fewer of the fine creases.
Darker shades fade a touch at the seams and collar edge over the first summer. On linen that reads as wear, not damage, and it is why the ink colour costs the same as the pale ones.
